What's in the buckets
Hi all, The buckets were fuller this weekend as more people were fishing and less partying. The Crappie bite is still on and going strong. Most are of a nice size. Finding them isn't hard either. Weed bed and shorelines with willows usually produce. Bluegills are producing quite well around the same places as the Crappie. Small jigs like a flu flu and a waxie or piece of a crawler work very well. Northers were being taken on bobbers and big minnows in about 10ft of water. 6-7-8lbs were caught. Some nice Bass in the 2and 3lb range were cleaned also. I did not see any Walleye's, or talk to anyone who caught one. But I am sure they are there. Thats about all there is. Keep your lines wet.
