Dozens of small, undeveloped lakes within 5-mile radius
“You could fish a lifetime around here and never run out of places to go.”

About Spider Lake
Spider Lake is actually a chain of 5 lakes, totaling roughly 300 acres.
The irregular shoreline and many islands, bays and coves make every outing
on Spider a wonderful discovery experience…even if you don’t fish. Bring
your kayak or canoe (or rent ours).
There’s a boat landing at the resort and a very nice public landing at the
other end of the chain.
Except in rare times of extremely low water, all five lakes are accessible
by boat (even a large pontoon boat can motor through the channels). The
lake is clean and clear and mostly undeveloped with abundant wildlife
visible from the water, including herons, eagles, deer and loons. Lucky
observers have spotted black bears and cubs. Game fish include crappies,
bass, bluegills, northern and an occasional walleye. There is a small
swimming beach with a gravel and sand bottom at the resort.
