Bluegill Festival 2023

Bluegill Festival is back for 2023! Grab your family and friends and head on over to Birchwood for the best block party in Northwestern Wisconsin!

Come out and enjoy, music, crafts, food, parade, and celebrating our amazing community! Scroll below for a list of events going on all weekend and a daily weekend schedule!


Bluegill Festival Medallion Hunt

July 21st - Until Found

The Medallion Hunt begins July 21st,
and continues until it is found.

The finder of the medallion is awarded $75 to those wearing a 2023 Bluegill Button, and $25 if not wearing it. (Best to get a button!) Clues will be posted daily at Gary’s Grocery.

If you find the medallion, congrats, and bring the medallion into Gary’s Grocery, fill out a finders card and leave it at Gary’s Grocery.

  • Friday, 4pm - dark

  • Saturday, 7am - dark

  • Sunday, 8am with afternoon championship 

Bluegill 2023 Buttons & Pins

On Sale Now!

Get your collectors buttons and pins!

Buttons will be available soon at Dairy State Bank. Queen candidates will also sell buttons. Purchase as many as you'd like for a chance to win 1 of 3 cash prizes. Drawing will be held immediately after Sunday's parade. Need not be present to win.

All proceeds go to Timber Bay, a non-profit helping community youth. ​

Registration: 6:45am - 8:00am 

Kids Fun Run Half Mile: 8:15am Start

Annual 5k Run/Walk: 8:30am Start

Cost: Pre-Registration $15 (Before July 9th) Race Day $20, Half-Mile $5 (Max of $50/family)​
